The mission of the New Yiddish Theater Rep is both to adapt classical Yiddish theater for modern audiences and to "develop new Yiddish inspired works and investigate modern approaches to the vast Yiddish theater..." Also part of their mission is to train Yiddish speakers for the theater. Toward that end they offer a variety of acting classes at varying levels.
