Abstract
A video of one of the signature comedy routines of Mike Nichols and Elaine May. This particular performance was from the July 9, 1965 episode of the Jack Paar Show. The routine depicts the exasperated frustration of a man who is trying to get his dime back from a pay phone at a time when the Bell Telephone Company had a total monopoly of telecommunications.
