This is a biographical sketch of Rabbit Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the most prominent and best-known leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. The article states that he was the "most phenomenal Jewish personality of modern times." His leadership was responsible for the extensive growth of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement and saw the establishment of Lubavitch centers and Chabad houses in many cities and university campuses worldwide.
