dc.description.abstractWritten when Soros was one of the targets of mail bombs that were sent to a number of Democrats and progressives, this article looks at the mainstreaming of antisemitism. The author describes how antisemitism and antisemitic tropes, once restricted to extreme far right and white supremacist groups, have increasingly become part of the standard discourse of more mainstream right wing and conservative groups, including some politicians within the Republican Party.
