Abstract:
The American Jewish Archives (AJA) seeks to function both as a "repository of source material" and as a "research center and an agency for the dissemination of scientific data on the history of the American Jewish experience." The mission of the AJA is implemented primarily through the American Jewish Archives Journal, which is a twice-yearly publication available for free on the AJA website. The AJA has also issued various brochures of a less scholarly nature than the Journal, which documents various aspects of Jewish life in the United States generally and Ohio in particular.
